The Byrose River runs from the grassy lowlands before the Dragon Mountains to the Serpent River, a bit east from the city of Travar. The T'skrang House K'tenshin holds a firm grip on the trade on the Byrose, despite the Free Trade Compact that should allow free access to all harbours, although Travar’s steady increasing airship fleet begins to soften up their monopole. The soil left and right to the Byrose is very fertile and provides excellent farmland for crops, livestock.
